 Hello to everyone.
I am currently researching my Father's family, the McMurrichs.
I have managed to get back to 1757 with the McMurrich family, but can't get back any further.
Counties involved are Dumbartonshire, Dumfriesshire (Father's birthplace) Renfrew, Greenock and Paisley.
Also involved with Drummonds, Dumfriesshire and Greenock.
(England- Tunbridge Wells, Wilstshire and Walthamstow!)
Morrisons,McKenzies and Carmichaels (Grandmother's side) Inverness,Ross and Cromarty and Argyllshire.
I find it all enveloping, fascinating, frustrating but deeply enjoyable.
I have met many people via the internet researching branches of the family and am currently in contact with a 3rd Cousin in the State of Washington! |
