Hi, to all on SFT.
I only joined last night and already have had a reply. What a great site.
Family names ( all from Ayrshire) are McKinstray, Hamilton, Gray and Clark, been collecting info for about 2 years now and am addicted.

Have lived in Dunfermline for 20 years now and my friend and I (Along with a few others) run West Fife Family History Group. Only a hobby group but if we can assist anyone please let us know.

Welcome to SFT, I have McKinstrays in my tree too, Thomas Mckinstray/Mckinstrie married Helen Aird in 1844, Helen was my 4 x gt aunt.

This a good site for info on Ayrshire and I am sure someone will be able to help with your queries.

Lynda and I(along with a few others) have been working hard getting West Fife Family History Group off the ground and now have some good resources if folk are looking for Fife rellies.

I have been telling Lynda about the site for a while but she only got a good look at it yesterday!

Offer still stands if we can help anyone out who doesn't live in Dunfermline area. I am in Kirkcaldy 2-3 times a week too so I can take photos of places there too.

A wee warm welcome, ayrshirelass to SFT.

Was in Dunfermline this summer and got photos of the wee hoose where ma daddy was born, in Canmore St. Very Happy
