Hello all,
Have been researching my tree for a couple of years now. Came across a link to your forum on Rootschat.
So far I have family links to:-
Highlands (Inverness and Loch Ness)
Islay
Moray (Elgin)
Fife (Leuchars, Leslie and, of course, Auchtermuchty)
Edinburgh and Glasgow
The Scottish Borders (East and West)
Carlisle
Durham
Yorkshire
Woscestershire
Kent
Dorset
Devon
Ireland
and finally Gibraltar and Bombay
I've done the "going back as far as I can bit" and I am now concentrating on my near relatives and making connections with others who share ancestors. I'm sure I will make a lot of interesting connections and hopefully be able to help others by joining this forum.
cheers
Bob |

Hello and Welcome to SFT, you will enjoy this site .
Would one of the other names be TOSH? I ask as I grew up with a chap by that name whose folks I believe were from Dundee.

Hello Jack,
No Tosh isn't one of my Surnames of Research. I'm sure there are a few over the Tay in Dundee.
best regards
